Welcome To Rockaway Little League!

Serving the Peninsula's Youth Since 1954

Each year, Rockaway Little League provides the great American games of Baseball and Softball to more than 700 children and Challenger athletes on our fields in Ft. Tilden, Gateway NRA. We do more than give these youngsters the chance to compete; our coaches and volunteers teach them life lessons like teamwork, fair play, respect for each other and sportsmanship.  We hope your family will join us for another great season.

Our Mission Statement

To provide healthy activity for our children using the ball field as a classroom to instill discipline, team work, sportsmanship and fair play, and to establish a set of values to guide them on the right path to adulthood.

All Games and Practices Take Place in Ft. Tilden, part of Gateway National Recreation Area

Ft. Tilden is just west of the Gil Hodges Marine Park Bridge.

Enter Ft. Tilden at the traffic light across from Riis Ferry Landing or from Beach 169th Street near the firehouse.  Free parking is available but a pass is required after June 15.
